TV Link & Multi-Room Installations

What is a TV Link?

TV Links Allow you to view Sky Tv, from your main Sky Digital Receiver, in other locations around your home via a remote sender and a coaxial cable. Compatible with Sky digibox, Sky+ & Sky HD.

How does it work?

TV Links work by sending the Sky remote control signal, via the TV Link remote sender, along a coax cable back to the Sky receiver in the main room, letting you change channels, access the TV Guide, etc in other locations around the home. Click here to see an example of a TV Link setup.

You can keep adding TV Links to give control from further locations around the home via a TV Distribution Amplifier with the output of the amplifier connecting to a TV Link remote sender at each location. TV Links can end up being not only cheaper than Sky Multiroom, at £120 per year per room, but also a lot more flexible.

What does a TV Link installation consist of?

A TV Link remote sender is simply plugged directly into your TV at the desired location and a coaxial cable installed from your Sky box into the TV Link giving you full remote control over your SKY box! It is usual to obtain a remote control for each TV Link added.

How much does it cost?

Use the tables below to work out how much your fully installed TV Link will cost according to the number of TV Links and remote controls you require. It is advised that the relevant remote control is included in each TV Link you add (ie. if you have a Sky+ receiver installed include one Sky+ remote control for every TV Link) to get the best from your TV Link
